IMO It's pricey. I would concentrate on finding straps and shackles on your own. Straps are most useful of those items, long one and short one, you can always combine them or waste a few wraps to shorten them, etc...All that stuff is useless without straps to start...

Piece it together. $190 for stuff you don’t really need is silly

you just wanting a small bag of items incase that very remote chance you slide in a snow bank and needed help getting out or you wanting stuff that may get used frequently offroading ?
crosby and van beest green pin are about your biggest names in lifting shackles. either one is a solid choice. saving a few bucks on chinese junk makes no sense as crosby and greenpin arent that expensive. masterpull has alot of top notch usa straps of various kinds. gear america i know nothing about except it appears theyre made in china. me personally want nothing to do with china stuff, especially with winching components since people could be hurt or killed if something broke. not to mention vehicle damage as well

I agree with what others have said, get what you need and not pay for extra items you don't need in a kit. I would also look at "soft"shackles as well, and maybe a hitch receiver w/shackle.

5/8 or 3/4 shackles is plenty. seems like i have a couple of both . 5/8 would be more than enough since you want to use two if at all possible . 10' 50k+ strap is enough if your using it in a basket configuration. using it other ways lowers the capacity.
i dont have any soft shackles but may get some as they could be handy in some situations. cant recall what snatch block ive got but its from masterpull. super yanker rope wouldnt be bad idea
