Anyone know where I can get front bumper tow hooks and how to mount them on my 98 1500?

Does anyone know where I can get recovery hooks for my 98 1500 and how to mount them?

The tow hooks for the 2nd gens are pretty simple and mount with two bolts. For that year I believe the 1500's were the same is the 2500's. If you can't find them on the web, I would check with a few bone yards that deal with light trucks. If your truck as the lower air dam below the bumper, the cut out area is outlined on the back side. Extremely easy install.

Sorry I can't help on that, I got mine in 1995 from the dealer. I'll see if I can find a part number to assist with a search.

look on ebay even amazon they got them or go to Mopar.com

Ram stopped carrying these in the mid 2000's

They occasionally show up on the web, but you might start scouring salvage yards..

You'll also need the frame brackets and hardware that mounts the hooks to the frame.
