Which kit are you running? That’ll tell you if you can use that filterI have a 4000 mile round trip planned and I'd hate to stick the wrong filter on and have issues.

The 20-820 filter will not fit that mount. The mount takes a 3/4-16 filter thread and the 20-820 is a 22-1.5 filter thread. Stock is 22-1.5.the transdapt version. 1127
I have a RP 20-820 coming Wednesday, but I guess it's good to know for next oil change
I had an issue with my original permacool kit and swapped to the 1127 kit and no issues with it thus far. I have about 15,000 miles on that kit I think. The permacool remote filter mount was not machined properly and the filter would not seat well and leaked. I ran AN lines and fittings as well that are also larger than the barbed fittings included in the kit.Did anyone have any issues after installing the kit? The barbed fittings and hoses it comes with are a no no and should not be used. It needs AN fittings and braided lines. Also, the transdapt 1127 kit has known manufacturing defects reflected in reviews, machining goes to deep and pinhole spots blow out and leak oil. Not being a nay sayer just havent seen this menrion on this thread..
If you go with that kit you would need 4 count of -10 an to 1/2” npt male threaded adapter. I used 1/2” npt thread to -10 an hose fittings for mineI am going with the 1127. Found one for $50. Will this hose/fitting kit work? It’s sized 10an.

If you mount to the frame you are fine.As I prepare to install the remote filter, a question came up. My ram has the factory air suspension. Will that effect the location of the filter. From say off road 2 to entry/exit. Would that cause tension on the hose and fittings, or will it be stationary.
