Remote start options

Anyone know how to program seat heat to come on with remote start?

check your Uconnect settings. There should be a setting in the menus that allows you to select what climate control settings are activated (to include seat heat) if outside temp is below/above a certain temp. I think this is under the remote start or climate settings.......go through the menus until you find it.

At least this was/is the case the with my old 2014 outdoorsman and my 2018 rebel. My dad has a 2017 Laramie which it is also the case.

On the Limited with 12" screen it's in the UConnect Settings pages. Driver seat and steering wheel comes on with remote start when its under ~40deg.

Thanks. It was set but I didn’t know about the “below 40” trigger.

Actually just wanted to make sure it was working properly. Glad to avoid another trip to the stealership.

Mine works every other remote start. Since july ive been to the service center about 17x for different things. Im tired and im sure there tired of looking at my ass. I think Ram wins for now smh. I dont have the time or energy anymore.

I have the 8.4. Is there a way to change the 40 degrees setting? I couldnt fine one.

Sadly no. I asked about that at dealership and one of service managers said he had been asked this same question numerous times about Ram and Jeep vehicles and finally contacted FCA and was told 40 was it.

This sounds like something for AlphaOBD to make functional, a way to program in various enabling temps!

Also, when this setting is selected, the ventilated seat will come on when ambient is 80F+.
