Replace the Radio & GPS

On my last trip, I started have trouble with the GPS in my 2010 Ram 1500. It is the factory Uconnect system, and I am not happy with it. Is there a good "after market" replacement, that has AM/FM radio, camera setup, and a good GPS system. Any help is good.

I have a preference for the Kenwood "DDX" models and I like the Pioneer NEX systems. Check them out.

Is their GPS independent or do you need to use Uconnect ?

Their GPS is independent of Uconnect. I use Sirius XM radio alot so I connect them to the factory Sirius satellite antenna.

No problem man. I run a Kenwood DNX-996XR in one Ram and a
DDX-9906XR in another

DNX is the navigation head unit and DDX is the DVD - HD - Bluetooth version.

Kenwood DNX series uses Garmin Navigation built into the radio. and / or you could go with Android / Apple and use your phone.

I like the bigger screen of the radio or my Garmin ! My son's use their I phones and love it :O Guess I am just a crusty old fart who is stuck in their way 's lol

The DNX series uses a 7" screen, also the radios with Android Auto uses 7 to 9" screens, so you can still have the big screens. In fact the Dnx series has android auto built in so you can use either. My Garmin is a 7" and it is the biggest available, so unless you have that one, the DNX will be a bigger screen.

Thanks, As for my Garmin I have the 6" screen so it is good for me Guess it is what we get used to
