This is my first post in this forum. I have a 2019 Warlock and based upon the "sticky'd" post I replaced my dash and front door speakers first (Crutchfield's Black Friday specials were amazing). I replaced the oem's with:

Dash- JBL Club 322F (3 1/2, 3ohms)
Front Door- JBL Club 9632 (6x9's, 3ohms)

My problem is my dash speakers overwhelm my door speakers. The front sound is clear, but I'm not getting that low end bass from my door speakers. I mean not really at all. I know the door speakers can push a lot more because they did before I installed the dash speakers. Do I need to do something else? Please help!!!!

Great forums btw

Look at ohms on your old dash speakers. I think mine were 8 ohm. I ended up buying a pair of 3 ohm resistors. Placed one on each new dash speaker. Did the trick. Nick

Yep, factory dash 3.5s are 8 ohm and have built in crossover caps (bass blockers). I put 4 ohm resistors in series with my Kicker 3.5s but haven't put in any bass blockers yet.

Do you have the alpine system? If so, the 3ohm speakers are correct.

the front doors on the alpine system get nothing but a low signal. I replaced my front doors as well, and lost almost all bass. I ended up going back to the OeM door speakers, and it was shocking how much they provided to the overall sound. I don’t have any experience with the non-alpine system in these trucks.

I had the stock Alpine system and I did the JBL GX series. They run at 2.3 ohms and are more sensitive, thus making it louder per watt. The stock Alpine amp in the Ram (and other Chrysler vehicles) is a 2 ohm amp. Both of the front door channels in the stock amp is crossed over for lows. When I changed the speakers, everything got noticeably brighter. I experimented with keeping a stock speaker in the front passenger door and the JBL in the driver side front door. The bass was a little louder from the stock speaker, but the quality of the bass from the JBL was superior. The biggest reason why the bass seems like it is lower is because the rest of the system's frequencies are brighter and louder.

I have since then changed all of the speakers again (and will be doing again lol) and built a quality system as the sound just didn't float my boat. Unfortunately I got hooked on the stereo systems in all of my vehicles, so I have been playing around with this field for, **** 30 years now. If you choose this route, I highly recommend the Idata Maestro going into a Rockford DSR1. That will give you 8 channels of digital sound processing control for what ever amps you choose to install, while keeping that nice 8.4" screen!! It's got all of the goodies. Time delay, crossovers, EQ's. Also, again if you choose this route, if you want to change the sub, get a fox box https://www.foxacoustics.com/
