Replacing 5” Uconnect with 8.4 Carplay

Hello, I’m new to this forum. I just purchased a 2020 RAM 1500 Bighorn that has a 5” Uconnect radio with compass, no GPS, no SXM. I purchased a VP2 8.4 DT SXM radio. Do I need any wire harnesses?
I’m not even sure if my truck has a GPS and an SXM antenna.

Hello,
Just installed mew radio in my 2020 RAM 1500 Bighorn. Having a problem with the climate controls. They stay on and the only way to turn the off is to leave the jack disconnected.
Also , only volume and station works at steering wheel. Any idea as to what can be done?

Okay, so after installing my new radio in my 2020 RAM BIGHORN 1500, I lost control of volume, tuning and heat is stuck on high.
Ran alfaOBD and now I have bolume and tuning repaired. The new error code is “U11B8.”
Can someone please let me know what may solve the problems?
