Had Weathertech mats in my Charger. Didn’t like how slick they were when getting in with wet shoes.

In my 2013 RAM, I just used the factory carpeted mats.

I currently have the Mopar molded “weathertech” style all weather mats in my 2017. I highly recommend them. Getting into the rear storage bins is a little tricky, but the material seems tough and isn’t slick.

That could be VERY dangerous. I would HIGHLY advise AGAINST doing that. That will make the soles of your shoes/sneakers very slippery on the pedals as well.
Be careful!

I'll have to check out the cleaner to see if it brings the color of the liners back to life.
I spray mine and wash them down, but they still look faded. Are yours faded as well?

Ive been doing it for years so im not worried. As long as you wash them with hot soapy water after its fine

Ohhhhhhhh,.....you didn't say that brahhh! lol
Yeah,...then you're good. I thought you left the stuff on there as you didn't state that you washed them off after.

You're confused bro. Either that, or quoting the wrong person.
I was referring to the dude about using some tire shine or rubber protectant on his.

I had to go out and look at what I had installed, turns out they're Husky's
I've had a few different sets in several vehicles and I like the feel and fit of these.

Decided to replace my front floor liners with Husky x-act floor liners. I dont like the hard plastic that I have currently. I'm going to keep the weathertech liners for the back because they are flexible. I had a hard time getting the front liners out today to try to clean them. Oh well live and learn. Anyone else have similar thoughts on these?

I vacuum my weather tech before removing no issue for me. Btw, where in PA are you ?

I used turtle wax ice on my wt , didn't cause any slipping issues for me, but it is something to think about.

I like the WeatherTechs as I had them in my last truck for 11 years and I have them in my new truck since I got it in 2016.
The ONLY gripe I have with the Weathertechs is the way that they become dirty and are almost impossible to make look good. Even after washing them with car soap and a brush, they come clean, but still look aged. Do the Huskys do that as well?

Yea there is no real way of getting them back to the way they look new.. I have rough scrubbed them with soap.. power washed them and they get clean but still faded. Wonder if you out like mothers plastic trim restore on it or like tire shine something not slick if it would help keep them looking fresh longer.

Get some HD Protect. I had the weather tech mats in my 05 Ram. Had the mats for over 8 years and they always looked brand new.

Not being facetious here, but what is HD Protect?
I may look into that.

OK Looks like its a vinyl/rubber protectant made by 3M.

I use the 303 Aerospace Protectant on all my vinyl and rubber So I will be using that on the WeatherTechs and hope for the best.

Yes What is HD Protect? and where can we get some?
It's made by 3D. Autogeek.net is where I got it from. If you have the fading issue look at Blackfire trim restorer.
