I’m in the process of replacing the rear passenger door. I got a complete door from the junk yard. Part of the disassembly of the inner door panel requires rolling the window down and releasing the window clips, pulling the window up and then you can remove the inner door panel. All fine on the current door. However the ‘new’ door isn’t powered (obviously) so I need to somehow power the window motor so I can roll it down. There are 3 points I can do that from; the wiring harness/plug where it attaches at the pillar, the window switch/wiring or the motor itself. So, I need the wiring diagrams for one of those. I’ve searched and searched and can’t seem to find a specific wiring diagram. Can simply apply 12v somewhere to make the window motor function? Attached are 4 photos.
1 - The connector for the door wiring harness where it attaches at the pillar.
2 - The inside of the window switch.
3 - Side view of the wiring at the window switch.
4 - The other side of the wiring at the window switch.
I need to know which pins or wires to connect power to.
OR, can I simply run power directly to the motor? Since there are only 2 wires attached to the motor, I assume power will move the motor one way, and reversing plus and minus will reverse the motor?
Thanks for any assistance.
