Replacment muffler opinions

Thanks for the info guys, also seen a lot of exhaust with the pipe ending up over the rear axle, mostly with Borla.... Is that just a Borla thing or could I do that to and get more noise with less pipe/restriction? Any draw backs out problems with that?

The best way to get more noise with less pipe/restriction is to go to a better flowing muffler dumped before the axle, and/or go up in exhaust diameter. Any muffler can be installed and the tail pipe can be ran over the axle or wherever you want it to go.

Thanks, think I gonna go with a Carven type R and take the pipe just over the axle and see how it is.... If it's too loud in the cab I'll just take the pipe back behind the wheel and call it a day

The flow master is a direct fit replacement Muffler do these other brands offer that? I do not want to cut and weld I had a flowmaster 50 on my 2001 6 liter Denali and it sounded really good

I have a flo pro muffler and it has a nice sound to it.
