Resonator delete

Someone mentioned that if I just delete the resonators and leave stock muffler…..the tips will rot off within a year. No clue why anyone ever heard or experience this?

Haven't heard of that one, what exactly is the resonator supposed to be doing to prevent the tips from rotting out while they are on there?

Dude I have no idea I never heard it in my life.

I think what they are referring to is the quality of pipe used to replace the resonator is not as good as the factory pipe and it will rust out quicker. I agree that the resonator looks like crap hanging down.
