What’s your budget?
And are you set on it being an AR or you just want to build it?
300-400, I’m set on AR so my son can get familiar with the platform
Good for you, start the kids early for a lifetime of learning.
Introduce them to the shooting sports at an early age the experience will help them to get more out of shooting and bring levels of achievement to them and you.
Like LoneStar, my wife loves shooting her Ruger SP 101 with custom wood finger grips. It is her target pistol and her home protection piece.
Reminder to our Ca member's. 7-1-2019 new ammo purchase law starts. Now is the time to order/stock up on ammo. Our gun dealer gave us 10% off on all orders over $600. Also would match any on line price. Restricted to common caliber.
Right on, let me see what I can find for you. You wouldn’t happen to have any stripped lowers already would you?
Found it sale ends tomorrow (under budget $299)
Smith and Wesson M&P 15/22
They are worth the money. I know a lot of guys with them
Got to go out to ring some steel and punch some paper Saturday. Took the Ruger MKIV .22LR pistol, the AR 15 & AR 10, the M&P 15-22, the SA Champion LW 1911 & the Kriss Vector.
I'm getting pretty good with the Kriss bangin' 6" steel at 100 yds ever since I put the EoTech on it.
Those M&P 15-22's are good rifles. We've got two of 'em.
I so agree with this statement. I have 3 girls plus the wife. Had all of the girls out on a range before they were 10 yrs old. All respect firearms and ask me to take them to the range whenever they are in town.
The youngest, now 18 and the wife finished a CCW glad a few months ago, wife likes my Ruger 380 LCP, but can’t decide what she wants as her own.
Not at the moment
My latest purchase.
Colt "Enhanced" Lightweight Officers 45acp.
She's in teardown mode right now getting some TLC and a re-finish soon.
