Has anyone done this or considered doing this? I live in CT and we have some bad winters and the plow trucks use straight salt on the roads so I was looking for a solution so that 5 years from now my truck isn’t rusted to hell.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Maybe not rhino liner but there are a few products in the market make for that. My Ford Escape had it and my 93 VW golf had it as well. I think it’s a good idea. I have considered it but I live in GA and when it snows the state shuts down. By the time the plows can get out the snow melts. Well when the light now melts

Fluid film for sure. If you want rust abatement, POR-15.

Rhino Lining/LineX/Herculiner/etc are hard type chafe protection, and you would need to take the whole body from the frame to spray it.
For rust protection you will need a fluid who crawls and seeps in all small creviches and inside the frames and empty spaces.
Fluid Film and Krown are specialized products but you should have them applied by professionals as the magic is to do a perfect job.
