Dealer said I'm SOL, warranty is 6 months expired and he wouldn't touch the rim to even inspect it. Going to see what Discount says tomorrow.
I figured as much, go to a used tire store or check Craigslist for used wheel. Worse case....time to upgrade and get some new shoes lol
I believe that chrome part is nothing but a plastic chrome cover that is glued to your wheel. Those wheels are not like your old school chrome wheels
These rims are alloy, not steel. RAM is a heavy truck and potholes will destroy rims.Looks like it hit a pothole hard real hard
I Love My 2018 RAM 2500HD 4x4 Off Road. 6.4L. USMC (ret)
Alloy rims are probably a TIG weld repair. Then they have to grind and balance and re-chrome because yours don't look like plastic chrome-clads. May be as pricey as the Stealership.Dealer said I'm SOL, warranty is 6 months expired and he wouldn't touch the rim to even inspect it. Going to see what Discount says tomorrow.
