Dealer said I'm SOL, warranty is 6 months expired and he wouldn't touch the rim to even inspect it. Going to see what Discount says tomorrow.

I figured as much, go to a used tire store or check Craigslist for used wheel. Worse case....time to upgrade and get some new shoes lol

Basically what I told him when he quoted $597 for one rim plus installation.

I believe that chrome part is nothing but a plastic chrome cover that is glued to your wheel. Those wheels are not like your old school chrome wheels

I don't have the chrome rims, I have the polished aluminum rims. Definitely nothing glued to my rims.

Maybe check eBay too there are companies that sell aftermarket wheels that are identical to stock oem

I had a set of those exact rims I bought used for 800. Sold the tires off them for 400 since they were almost new and used the rims and sensors for winter tires so keep an eye out if you don't want to go the new set route. Made a similar deal on some limited wheels and sold the sport ones for 600 with sensors to somebody else a year later in winter when guys are selling them for more because more people are looking for second sets.

Anyone have experience using Detroit Wheel and Tire or Hubcap Haven? OEM rims there.

I think Detroit Wheel takes used wheels and refinishes them.

I Love My 2018 RAM 2500HD 4x4 Off Road. 6.4L. USMC (ret)

These rims are alloy, not steel. RAM is a heavy truck and potholes will destroy rims.

I just bought two replacement 20x9's from another RF member to deal with 6 years of accumulated winter pothole damage.

One of my old rims wouldn't balance at better than 60mph. The other takes way too many weights and needs the A-Team guy or its wobble time.

Both are n the back right now, but its rotate time...

I live in Phoenix and potholes are extremely rare here, not saying they never happen, but I can't remember the last one I saw.

Alloy rims are probably a TIG weld repair. Then they have to grind and balance and re-chrome because yours don't look like plastic chrome-clads. May be as pricey as the Stealership.
