Rockers

I'm trying to find new rocker panels and cab corners for my 2001 Dodge Ram 4 door extended cab. The rear doors are the small ones that open backwards. I don't want the "slip on" parts. I can't find these parts for the extended cab with 4 doors but, it's easy to find them for the extended cab 2 door models. Any help would be appreciated. thank you, gregjo1948

Is there any body shops you like working with? They might be able to easily source parts for you.

A friend of mine who works for a body shop said they use a lot of stuff from LMC Truck. I just happened to be looking at their site a few weeks ago for my 2001 I gave to Dad.

Did you just get slip ons? If not you over paid for the weld on rockers lol

I didn't get "slip ons". I had a hard time finding parts for a 2001 Ram 4 door extended cab with suicide doors in back. I found the parts at 2 places, other than Rock Auto, that were near $150.00 more. and the shipping was cheaper at Rock Auto also. I am also replacing the inner rockers. I think it's a waste of time and money to stick slip ons on when I plan on keeping the truck for many more years. I received the parts (Sherman parts) a couple days ago and found them to be the correct fit and undamaged. I'm pleased with the purchase.

I agree with the slip on. I paid $250 for the inner and outer (per side) plus $100 for the support rocker

I just searched rockauto.com The parts I got were Sherman parts. You might try searching that. If you're looking for parts to fit a ram extended cab 4 door with the suicide rear doors, be very careful to see that it says "4 door"'... I found a lot of suppliers that only had extended cab 2 door parts. If you're looking for the extended cab 4 door outer rockers and cab corners, I could give you the Sherman part numbers. Summit Racing Equipment also has Sherman body parts.

I already bought mine (well for a clients truck he need all 3 rockers done on both sides) was just curious
