ROLL-UP INFO: FOTA 18.11.x & uC D/L 18.45.01 SW Update 13-17 RA3/Vp3-NA & Ra4 VP4-NA

I can't even get to that part of the website to do anything it tells me I'm up to date and the radio is glitching and so is the backup camera and the HVAC controller are sometimes it say I have dual Climate control and I don't

Seems all Canadian VINs come back as up to date so forget the Uconnect web site and try to locate the files you need on ramforum or call dealers asking if one would download the file on a USB drive of yours.
p.s. I meant 18.45.01

17.43.01 is listed as disabling dual cam on the 2013-2017 FW Notes tread but I don’t have dual cam so I cannot confirm if it’s working on 18.45.01.

Yes I did write 43 instead of 45. Too many numbers to keep straight. My new radio came back with 18.45.01 and the cargo cam does NOT work. My original radio that they replaced had version 18.13.17 and the cameras worked as they should. I had 17.11.XX and they pushed an ota update and that is when I got 18.13.17. I never had 17.43.01.

You will have to decide if the current issues outweigh the risk. I personally updated 2x 2018 and 1x 2017 without issues. Make sure you have enough gas for the truck to run for 45 minutes and follow the update procedure and you should be good.

I'm sorry I was just saying wat they said and I've updated my wife radio so that don't bother me but im scared I don't want to lose my radio and I don't want to buy a new one and I really don't see anything aftermarket that is worth a damn and how does the 500 turn in to usa cuz I kno its different

I was trying to update to 18.43.01. If you have a cargo cam that is working you do NOT want to update to 18.43.01. You will no long have the cargo cam. I had F/W 18.13.XX and the cargo cam worked as it should. I am in the process of working with Uconnect in an attempt to get it corrected.

2013-15 RAx radios ONLY SUPPORTED both camera inputs officially on a SW version 17.11.x

Earlier versions only allowed one or the other and if you had both from the factory, you got the BuCam on mirror and Cargo Cam on radio.

** There was a 'fix' to swap the camera video inputs around for the 17.11.x version (& buCam Reroute harness to the radio from mirror) ... But later updates to v18.x. reverted it for some people to previous setup (1 input only).

------ v16.x.x (with both cams) -----
Cargo Cam on pins 31,32,33
BuCam in Mirror

------ v17.11.x (with both cams) -----
BuCam on pins 31,32,33
CargoCam on pins 24,25,26

----- v18.43.x (OTA update... Allowed both for some. Not for others!?!) ----
BuCam on pins 31,32,33
CargoCam on pins 24,25,26

----- v18.45.x (1 input only) ----
BuCam on pins 31,32,33

If you have both, enabled you get this (what FCA expects officially)

Your other option is to install a 2016-2018 ram 8.4 radio that supports both inputs (currently)

so i check my radio and its version 14.05.3 and the list said to take it to the dealer but they say it might make it crashed

Need everyone to keep an eye out for an official v18.11.x or v18.43.x download file if it becomes available for each Ra4 VP4-NA year from 13-17 (& Ra3 Vp3-NA).

[C]** For those that get the OTA update, please last is know your truck/radio year, model, & final SW version from the settings menu or dealer menu **
(ie 17 Ra4 VP4-NA v18.45.01 or 15 RA3 Vp3-NA v18.11.07, etc) [/C]

There are a lot of folks out there with 8.4 upgrades and factory radios out of warranty this will affect on Nov 3.

please i will like the download for VP3 firmware 18.45.01. i have 17.11.07
im in canada i went i enter my VIN they say my radio is up tu date. went i call Uconect USA they ask me to call uconnect canada and went i call uconnect canada they refer me to go in a dealer. dealer charge 90$ a hour!! and the take the time.....

i also have a issu... my radio since september allwayse keep rebbooting. mabe you cant help?
