Roof/Cab lights on an 05' 1500

Has anyone ever put roof lights like the ones found on the HD or dually on a 1500? Been really wanting to put the smoked lens orange bulb lights on the roof.

Lol that's funny. Just found a guy with a set of smoke Recon Led's. $30.00 for brand new lights isn't that bad.

all i have to say is, if you are gonna put on some cab lights, youd better have some tow mirrors too, or it will just look funny. just my thoughts on the matter. you probably dont wanna hear the rest.

I got a 2500 an don't have them an glad I don't my buddy just sold his 06 an heavy rains they leaked

^they must have been installed by an idiot. Mine have been buried under two feet of snow, driven through heavy downpours on the freeway... They're dry as a bone. There's lots of old wives tales about leaking cab lights though.

His were factory I don't know if his were ever replaced . but I seen it with my own eyes man leaked like hell

I installed a set of smoked recons my self on my 05 I love them, i always add a little caulk to the holes I drill for extra insurance.

As said before its a very easy mod, all in all i was in and out of my shop in about 1.5 hours or so.

That must have been a total bummer. Maybe they were installed by one of those chrysler workers that got busted for smoking dope on the job?

Lol frog maybe I do like the way they look don't get me wrong but really don't wan to drill holes in my roof
