I was curious as to how many of you run roof racks and what mounting option you went with. I was looking into the go rhino srm100 for some extra storage for camping trips and also could add a light bar into it for extra light.

I wanted to try to avoid drilling into the roof but not totally opposed to it. I was looking at the rhino rack vortex bars to mount it to but not sure how Ridgid they would stay. Would appreciate any ideas, photos etc. Thanks

Also interested in this one. I understand that my 1500 has no mounting rails on the roof.

I have seen this one installed and it look good and seems to be well built.

I went with the smittybilt defender rack with light kit and a spare tire carrier on Rhino Racks as I did NOT want to drill my roof.

we can offer quotes on any of these if interested

I have had the Vortex 2500's on for over a year with no problems. Rhino Rack, Yakima and Thule are the only brands out there that I am aware of that wouldn't require drilling the roof. They are all pretty much the same IMO, Rhino Rack is priced best.

Forgot to add, these racks are the way to go, you don't want to drill your roof. These racks hold on tight.

Agreed. Mine have been great. I even checked mine after a few months to see if they are loose at all with the tool they come with and they are just as tight as the day I installed them

I had a Rhino Rack set up on the camper of my old Tundra, and I loved them. Fit and finish were great and they mounted up very solid. I've seen both the aero and heavy duty in person, and I would consider the heavy duty bars for your application (it's what I had on my Tundra).
