Rotor and cap

My 97 5.2l 1500 while driving loses power until I floor it then it gets up and goes for a min then does it again could this be caused by my cap and rotor? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Does it just feel like a dead spot or does it surge/lurch/shudder?
