Hello. I have a 2009 ram 1500 with a 6 inch BDS kit (installed by previous owner).

I am in need for a strut. Im still on a stock strut. I have been looking at:
- Rough Country N3 6 inch strut
- Rough Country M1 6 inch strut but it is only available for a 2012 to 2018.
- Dirt logic 2.0 6 inch strut

Looking for suggestions and opinions especially on the M1 struts since they not available for my year. I do not want to break the banks with struts

If you want to delete the spacer and do a full length option it’s going to cost more than just doing a Bilstein 5100 replacement strut. @Nick@GotExhaust can assist you with options. Rough Country does not make quality suspension parts

Yes I have been reading up on that with the 5100 and RC. I . Do you recommend going with that option and what would I need? Do you suggest any good 6 inch loaded struts or coilovers without breaking the bank? Only reason I include the m1 struts is bc I heard they are better than the n3. Thank you

Im back. Reading from all the threads I leaning on getting the fox 2.0 coil overs 0-2 inch and adding a 4 inch spacer that should come with the 6 inch bds lift but sadly I dont have them and have no clue where to get them as well. Is this a good setup?

I would also like to mention. I was thinking on getting a single or dual steering stabilizer from BDS. I do not know if my truck would benefit from this.

1500s are ifs, can’t do a steering stabilizer and most would tell you there just a bandaid anyways.

What do you use your truck for, I’ve never personally ran fox 2.0s but have heard from others who have that they’re a pretty soft shock. If you offroad or have a heavy aftermarket bumper/winch etc you may want something firmer.

I have strut spacers for a 6” lift if you need them.

Good call, lets see what your working with.

Also how do you use the truck? Street only, do you off road and if so what terrains and speeds?

Yea I am really iffy with it since I only drive a half ton. Well I almost never anything offroad. I maybe tow once or twice a year and I wanted to get a aftermarket bumper in the future.

Unfortunately I did not see this your message on the strut spacer and I was in a time crunch so I got the N3s for now.
