Is there anyone actually running a Royal Purple 20-500 filter on a 4th generation 2017 5.7

You can't read the oil filter thread and possibly think there is no difference in filters, even those that have the same media type spun glass. You need not read all the pages, just page one and 93 for the best in the small group of spun glass filters, if the science matters at all.

Yes we have another member who confirmed it fits, but also had some say no. Have a back up filter just in case.

Mine is a 2015, usually use the 820 but couldn’t find any, I do have a 1.5” body lift not sure if that makes a difference.

The 20-500 does NOT fit an '18 4x4 properly. I'm running it this time, but there isn't actually enough space between the bottom of the filter, and the 4x4 transfer case to properly install/remove. It's going to make a freaking mess when I remove it next time, as not even a ziplock is going to fit.

It fit fine in my 2016 4X4 Outdoorsman when I used them.
