hello guys i'm having some rpm fluctuation at idle, I've noticed it doesn't do it all the time, it comes and goes. I took it to a shop to check the computer and everything came out good. No codes were found. I was wondering if any of you guys had experienced something similar. any info would be greatly appreciated. thank you

p.s. I have a 2013 5.7 Ram

If it is tuned, could be the tune has issues with colder temps.

Check your intake bolts, mine did that and two were loose caused a vacuum leak.

Don't over tighten, I think torque specs is like 84 INCH lbs or something like that. In some sequence.

Having the same issues. Was told intake manifold gaskets need replaced, causing vacuum leak. Already cleaned TB and did relearn, didn’t help. Truck is tuned, but tune isn’t issue.

I know this is kinda basic, but if the defroster is on, the AC clutch will cycle on/off and affect the RPM's. Just a thought....

Mine only happens when idling, the rpm will fluctuate, and even engine dead once or twice.but the rpm is very stable when the d gear is engaged.
