Running board question

I got these for Christmas. https://realtruck.com/p/aps-5-black-iboards/v/ram/truck-1500/2018/. They do not use the pinch weld and include everything you need to install. I am sure there are plenty of other options as well that work like that.

Amp steps are the best. Tuck up out of the way when stored and extend down almost half of the way on my 2010 2500 HD with the factory leveling and TRX lift.

Did my steps in the pinch, 2 holes, but did not like the screw into the back plate approach of the mount so did blind nuts and a load spread bar to the back to prevent denting into the back plate. Probably over engineered it but, spreading the load of the steps over the whole area vs in to small areas just seems good practice. If you want I can shoot you a couple pics if you are interested.
