First off, yes I need a pic. Waiting on the weather to get better and I'll go grab one.

So I have what I can only describe as rust freckles/splotches all over my chrome clads. Ive tried numerous things thus far with zero effect.

In no particular order:
*White Vinegar w/ alum. foil
*Multiple wheel cleaner products
*Chem. Guys specialized debo deposit remover
*Good ole soap and water
*Paint scratch/swirl remover paste
*Claybar

So does anyone have any other suggestions of things I can try?

You mention using my multiple brands of wheel cleaner. Have you tried Meguiars Ultimate wheel cleaner. This wheel cleaner is safe to use on chrome clad wheel. I had a Ram with chrome clad wheels and no issues. The also like Chemical Guys Diablo wheel cleaner.

Regular chrome polish will work as will clearcoat safe rubbing compound at least that's what I use on my clad wheels and it works pretty well.

That thing got a Hemi... yup.
You might want to try Iron-X. Since those are plastic cladding, there shouldn’t be rust spots. My guess is it’s iron deposits that naturally occur from braking (pads). I think JB1 hit the nail on the head. Iron X should turn purple if there’s iron there. Then wash it off with a good soft mitt or brush and soap.

I've had luck with Mother's Mag/Aluminum polish in the past, depends on how deep they are though.

The clads are not plastic. They are some kind of metal which almost sliced a finger wide open when I tried to remove one.

Is that the front facing us? They don't look chrome.

I've had good luck using meguiars plastx plastic polish on the faces of my chrome clads

The rust is most likely brake dust or industrial fallout. I haven't tried ironx directly on the chrome but I did the barrel of my wheels with it, some ran onto the face and left no ill effects so it might be ok to use directly.

I just made my 18' chrome clad wheels look like new with Nevr-Dull. I was amazed how well it worked. I had tried other wheels cleaners and even straight Simple Green. Nothing worked. But Nevr-Dull worked amazing and it took very little effort.

Chrome polish... when I traded my 08 in the rims lasted through 7 years of winter salt/sand and off-roading. They were pretty clean and my truck was starting to rust! I got a lot of compliments about those stock rims
