Rust underneath the truck

Anyone else notice the amount of rust under these trucks. The drive shaft, where the oil pan bolts on, everywhere. I have read that it’s normal, but man, it seems to be a lot.

I live in the salt belt. I have never seen a driveshaft with out rust. Most likely it's normal.

OEM driveshafts are usually rusty, even here in cali that is something usually with a layer of rust on it. If you see trucks treated with fluid film and those that weren't, you can literally stop undercarriage rust before you get the cancer.

Same here on my 2013 undercarriage looks brand new in Wisconsin without even washing much. I have a friend that doesn't fluid film his 2016, but washes a lot throughout winter that looks terrible.

Our County in Wisconsin is stupid, we were supposed to get 1 inch of snow the other day with rain to follow which means warm enough so no big deal. Of course our county start spraying brings all over the roads when not needed. And bring is so much worse than salt.

We get the salt and the brine here bad also.That's why my trucks have gone pretty much strait to Krown right after purchase.
