I finally got to break in my brand new Ryobi impact driver at the junk yard this morning. I know a lot of people think Ryobi is junk but I've always had great luck with them and have a whole wall full of their 18v line. Probably an equal number of blue angels and fluorescent green (like the blue angels color scheme better (Go Navy!)).
Anyway, this thing tore through the rusty steering knuckle bolts with no effort. It actually twisted the tie rod end bolt off at the rod end like it was made out of paper. Be careful what you use it on. Saved me a crap ton of time. All bolts were out in seconds and these were obviously never changed during the car's life. So 18 years ago.
It was a good purchase.
