S&B intake questioin

Ive noticed two different part numbers for the intake..

75-5064 (09-12) 5.7

75-5078 (2014+) 5.7

i need the one for the 2015 5.7 ... so i am assuming that both will work, but i am guessing that one is for the oiled filter, and one is for a dry filter ? i just want to make sure that i am ordering something that is going to work for my truck..

Are those # right? Looks like the 1st is for 2009-2012

i was under the impression that almost anything from 09+ will fit the 2015s... but if one is oiled and one is dry, id like to at least know which one is which .. lol

That's the one you need, you can choose between oiled or dry. This is from Moe's site. He hasn't updated the site yet.

not to add more fuel to the fire, im also seeing a 75-5066 which is described as a (13-14) 1500... holy hell this is annoying, haha

From talking with Moe's Performance, anything from 2013MY on, will fit a 2015. He just hasn't had time to update the site.

S&B has tried to confuse everyone with the new 75-5078 part#. The 75-5066 kit will work on all 2013+ trucks. S&B has the 75-5066 only fitting 2013 models, and they have the 75-5078 listed as only fitting 2014 models, but that is not correct. We easily have 60-70 2014 customers running the 75-5066 kit and about a dozen 2015 customers running the exact same kit. It doesn't make sense to stock multiple part #'s that fit all these models, so we only stock the 75-5066 kit.

The dry filter version of the kit just has a D on the end of the part#. It would be 75-5066D.

I'm still trying to track one of these down in Canada. In Calgary most stores haven't heard of them and push k&n on you. Even in their order books don't have them.

They changed the route of the A/C Lines in the 13+ Rams, which is why the 09-12 won't fit a 13-15.

I ordered straight from Moe's. They have a Canadian warehouse they drop ship from.

i figured i would dig up my original thread instead of creating a new one..

how is s&b with their customer service? i had my plexiglass off and my brother in law dropped a 3 inch pvc pipe onto it by accident and completely destroyed the plexi glass.. im not looking for anything for free from them but will they sell me a plexiglass shield, or are they pretty iffy about taking care of their customers?

Contact S&B; they will sell to you directly from one of their 2 warehouses here. Very good customer service with reasonable shipping. (that's how I got mine)
