The peppers look great!
They be edible peppers in dat container, LOL.....
Good looking peppers. Making me hungry!
I’m not a fan of stuffed peppers but those look good enough to eat.
Would you be willing to reveal how you spiced the meat? I might have to try your recipe.
Damn it's like 23° out right now and the high tomorrow is gonna be colder. This ain't right for North Texas. Is spring or summer ever gonna happen again....
don't worry, global warming is going to fix you up.
Oh my... I just got the most exciting update on Rebekah. Had to share! Now I’m more excited than ever to see her Sunday! This is what her sister wrote this evening. It’s long but there’s nothing I wanted to cut out! I have tears of joy!
Lots of baby steps this week:
Bekah has been making lots of facial expressions, in the mirror and in response to questions and conversations: smirks and eye brow raises and duck lips. It’s so wonderful to see her personality come through.
She is also showing much more awareness of her surroundings; she rolls to help turn during bed changes, and wraps her arm around the caregivers’ shoulder when transferring to/from the wheelchair.
She is following cues better and responding better to instructions, although verbal comprehension is still questionable.
She has been practicing teeth brushing and spoon holding with occupational therapy, and although coordination varies with restlessness and fatigue, it seem to have tangibly improved over the last several days. Today with lunch she snatched her spoon and took a bite so quick it shocked me, she was ravenous!
She successfully used the toilet today for the first time. It was highly likely due to good timing on the therapist’s part, but hey, Bekah still did it! (I apologize if that’s TMI, and someday if Bekah reads this she’ll probably be mad and embarrassed, but we’re all excited about it! My excuse is that I have a hard time determining what is normal conversation for non-medical people!)
Physical therapy told me that yesterday they practiced with a special platform walker, and with their guidance Bekah was able to walk about 10 feet!
So we press onward.
Good night everyone!

I'd jump in the truck, drive down and visit but the -9° on my Dash depresses me to much.
Try feeding him some RIce mixed in with scrambled eggs &/or Rice mixed with loose hamburger, make sure to pat all the grease off the hamburger.
Do the egg mix first and see how it goes.
