I fought the same issue for a few months. After trying many fixes I ended up moving the light fixture farther from the opener and everything is fine now.

    Thanks for the update, Rado.

The black flies here are doing well. I suspect that the cold, wet weather is lengthening their tour. I don't seem to have been bitten very much, although I don't stay out for very long at a time. I hate the black flies. We're supposed to see a gradual warming, but still with frequent showers for the next week or so. As long as it doesn't end with us getting conked on the head with 85 all of a sudden one day, I suppose it isn't the worst Spring I've ever seen.:D

Rado, hopefully some of antibiotics will take care of the infection. Good thoughts sent to your friend and his wife.

Btw, I have had success with deep woods off.. I spray it my cloths, not my skin.

Hope your buddy gets well soon.
I had some teeth extracted and got an infection. No fun not being able to eat anything because I can't wear my partial. Went to the dentist and he said to wait another week before I put my partial back in to make sure that the extraction that got infected is healed. I'm getting tired of soup, and smoothies only good thing is I have lost some weight and can now wear a pair of Dickies Cargo Pants I bought and out grew. :(
