This is ridiculous....get in my truck after a 14hr night shift ..fire it up and I get a service power steering on my dash...and the red blinking steering wheel on the bottom left...couldn't do a damn thing...so I pulled the negative and positive...waited 5minuts put it back together and it suddenly worked....why did this happen? I'd rather this not happen again or happen while I'm driving and I completley get locked up .... is there a fuse anywhere? And if it is a fuse why would the battery trick work? Or is the fuse on it's way out ??? Its a 2015 ram sport. Help needed here...thankyou...

I highly doubtful it's a fuse going bad, probably an issue with the control board that inside the the steering rack. Maybe check the smaller wiring harness plugged into the rack, see if there is any connector corrosion.
If the gassers use the same fuse as on the EcoDiesel, the fuse is a 125A Z-Case bolted to the battery terminal.

Yeah I honestly have no clue where this fuse is...and or the steering rack location/ harness...can't really find anything online..

A Z-Case fuse looks like this, it gets bolted in place through the center.125Afuse.jpg
As for the rack wiring harness, it will be plugged in near the center of the steering rack under the truck
