I've been diehard against using anything except Shell Rotella T6 in My Ram 2500 Cummins, I didn't have a issue finding T6 in Texas now I'm just outside Sturgis and can't find it anywhere! All the parts stores say they haven't seen any for over 6 months now. It seems the shortage is worse up here? I found a oil I haven't seen before Schaeffers CK4 700 SynShield® Durability Advantage Engine Oil 15W-40. Anyone use this in there Cummins? I purchased 3 gallons today, all the reviews I can find make it look like Royal Purple for Diesel. Can I trust it? I've been towing a 8500lb trailer all over the USA and just upgraded to a 10k lb 5th wheel . My travels will continue for a while. I never push the oil change past 5k-6k miles while towing. I know it's hard on the oil especially in the triple digit heat we've been experiencing . Just looking for anyone with experience with this brand, any issues they may have encountered?
