I have a 1994 Dodge Ram 1500. It shifts ok then after a bit of driving, usually at 45mph it won't ****. Or it shifts hard. I have taken the cable soff the battery and connected them. Leaving them off for an hour then reconnecting them to the battery. I'm being told that on that year, there is no TCM. So if that's the case, what else could it be ? If it is the Shift Solenoid, where would it be located ? Keep in mind that an 80 year old man is dealing with this. Is it easy to get to and replace ? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
