Since delivery issues still persist I will answer this. Who is going to PDI and deliver all these vehicles that people want to drive back home with? That is precisely why there is a large dealer network and the vehicles are trucked to them for PDI and delivery.Well, Why not let people go pick up their vehicles or send drivers to go get them at least for those owners who are close to Michigan to decrease the bottleneck? I would think dodge would want to get some money on the books. They should at least communicate there is a major shipping problem instead of silence. They will have to eventually stop taking orders if they can't deliver a final product.
With respect to communication and the ongoing delivery delays, the numbers of causes are large and vary by location, timing etc. It is not feasible to explain each situation, beyond what the dealer can fill in for the customer. It sucks, but this is what happens when you tolerate governments implementing massive shutdowns of economies. It takes YEARS to get that mess straightened out.
