Even tho I'm only at a 2" drop, I was wondering what you guys have found to be the best overall shocks? I've seen KYB, Bilsteins, and stock being the most common choice. I'm not sure on what bilsteins because some say 4600 or 5100 series. I'm looking at replacing all four shocks as well.

I went with Bilstien 4600 in my 10 CC with a 2" rear drop. They are firm, but I like the ride better now.

I belive 5100s are only for 4wd and are better for lifted trucks

Well mines a 4x4, I'll have to check out and see if 4600's are 2wd only or not. But thanks for the ride input.

I'm in he same boat. 4x4. Stock front, 2" lowered rear. I want to replace mine but torn on which ones I want. Kinda leaning towards the 4600s but heard they are way more firm then factory. My truck rides great compared to my 12 cummins. I have bilstein 5100s on that. I just feel like my front shocks are worn.

I have 4600 on my 2012 CC 2wd with the 2inch lowered rear and like them (firm but still good IMO). If I had a 4x4 I would go with the 5100s.

FluidConcepts: what models QA1 for 2wd?

Same boat here. I got the stock front but lowered 2" in the rear. Was looking into different shocks too. Everytime I put my truck on the lift to change the oil I have to always re-align the rear shocks so they seat properly. Are any of the rear shocks mentioned above 2" shorter than the stock shock?

Thanks, I'll be looking into a set of KYB shocks! Is there a part number I should be looking for or just a standard set for a 4x4 ram?

Ts514 for the front.

These don't require modifications? What about the rears? Is it the ts901? I know someone on here posted the numbers before to the ones that didn't require any modifications to them. That's the ones I'm looking for.

I just changed out my stockers for Bilstein 4600. The backs were a PITA, but the fronts were easy peasey. Much better ride.

These "should" be 1.4" shorter than stock, but since they don't list extended length I don't know for sure.
I would order one from somewhere that has a good return policy to see, the 5100 is same as your stock length.

BILSTEIN 24-238298
Fits 2016 chev. silverado 1500
Eyelets look to be the same.
Found other ones that are the right length but most have 1/2 bushings instead of the 9/16

The do list the length of KYB Gas adjust at 24.68"
