Hi All,

Looking to upgrade the shocks on my 2022 Power Wagon. I’m leaning towards the Fox 2.0’s, but I could also upgrade to the Bilstein 5100’s. Any suggestions on what ones are better? Thanks in advance!

I’ve had both. I couldn’t tell a huge difference between the two.

I'm in the same boat... I'm looking at the Eibach Pro Trucks. From what I've researched the 5100 are a bit harsh/stiff on road, better for towing. The 2.0's are softer ride, not great for towing but better for off-roading. The Eibachs fall somewhere in the middle.

I went through four sets before finally getting the Carli power wagon specific shocks and they’re good. I two a 16ft flatbed fairly regularly with bikes and gear. Loaded and unloaded they’re good on and off road.

I have the Thuren Fox 2.0 on mine. Started with upgrading the fronts along with the Thuren springs at the same time, while keeping the stock rear. For the front it was hard to tell what difference was just from the shocks because of changing the springs also. The combo was actually slightly stiffer on normal paved roads, but does handle big bumps (like railroad tracks, speed bumps) better. Replaced the rear shocks by themselves at a later date. I did think they made a small but noticeable improvement in ride quality.

Bilstein 5100 are solid, per Thuren - the Fox 2.0 IFP is what I have and they said the Bilstein actually are a bit more robust, however the Fox rides a bit better

I have the Bilstein 5160 remote resevoir shocks. I got them from Suspension lifts in Canada and they are specifically tuned for Power Wagon. I think they were $1170 for all 4 when I got them. Big difference on wash board roads IMO.
