You need to ground yourself before stepping out of the truck. Just touch any metal surface of the truck (even painted areas) before stepping foot on the ground.

LOL - dude, it dumped about an inch of rain yesterday, an inch of rain the day before, threatening to dump another half inch today, tomorrow, Sunday...

Want to trade climates? Google Harvey and Imelda. We had literally 4.5 FEET of rain in 4 days. Twice.

How do any of you cold dry weather ramies like getting your ass handed to you when you jump out and close the door. Im sure its my flannel and cloth interior creating the static but my lord my 2500 hands my **** to me if i'm not careful when i get out. Maybe it doesn't want me touching the paint.

Heavy duty vinyl, looks like leather, cleans like leather (or better as there is no vent pin holes), so far seems to be holding up better than cloth.

The trick is to grab the door frame, i.e. the metal, before you start to slide out. If you are already grounded, touching metal, no way for charge to build up.

strange how some vehicles will do that and others will not, use to have a mercury that would bite you frequently, but other vehicles will not.
