Hey fellow ramers, I have a conundrum on my hands, it seems like my tc is on its way out, I’m getting the shuttering between 50-40mph when braking, I pop it into neutral and it goes away, also shutters on takeoff. Now the issue is, I’ve taken it to several shops that don’t want anything to do with the ****y fidelity pt warranty and all agree that it’s most likely the tc, but the dealer I bought it from will. I know now that I’m a ******* for getting the warranty but it was free so I figured win win but I’m VERY skeptical of dealerships touching my trucks, plus they want a signature for tear down cost if “they deem” it as normal. Does anyone have advice as to what to say to them or how to explain it to them? Or should I just by a new tc and do it myself? I want to catch it before it destroys the the rest of the tranny. I know that it’s difficult but can be done in my driveway, I just don’t have the time nor energy to do so. Tia for the help once again, you guys never disappoint.

If you are going to change the tc, make sure you flush the old fluid and change the filter.

I appreciate your offer but my truck is old (06) and I don’t have a mopar warranty, just a fidelity 3rd party warranty. Thnx though.
