I don't know about that. I know another ramcharger that is stock with worn out Springs and it doesn't sit much higher than my 93 but it definitely does not sit as high as my 89. I do know my 89 is setup for 31'sale. Speedo is always off with the tires I have.

I remember reading it in some archived off road mag article right after I got my ramcharger.

This is before the lift, with 33-12.5-16 on the 3/4 ton swap

i am pretty sure swapping in 3/4 ton axle all on its own gives a vehicle some lift. i am pretty sure the perches on the axle are taller or something like that. driving straight down the road with my 89 it has no issue with 33's but when you pull over a small bump like the ones on a driveway while turning it would rub the fender. i am still not even sure this thing has the stock suspension.

Not so much the perches are taller. The front Dana 44 is the same housing as the half ton 44, as you know, and the rear 60 is a larger tube than a 9 1/4 but that would give maybe a 1/4 lift.

I have a 93 Dodge d250 and I would like to put a lift on it but I can't find anywhere that can do the two wheel drive first gen lifts in Texas or even sell me the parts

that should be pretty easy. you just have to get taller or stiffer springs but you are still limited to a 2" suspension lift and you can't really do much more than a 3" body lift or else you start running into issues with stock stuff being too short. i know a member on another forum who lives in Texas has a lifted 2wd and it looks pretty mean

Here is my 84 RC Prospector, obtained the aluminium turbines from a jy for $25 each.. I did a 3 in body lift off the frame using composite lifts normally used on Ford Explorers, (cut down to 3 in).. also had to re-adjust the angle of the steering column to restore it to factory "straight".. That proved to me going any higher is not wise. Currently using LT 10.50 X 31 R 15s. That's the max I was told by a shop I could go without rubbing rubber... This was a while back where we tried a 32 in and it rubbed.. So I agree, at least for me less is more..
I was a gear head back in the late 60s when friends were rolling Dusters, Road runners, GTX, Cudas, etc etc.. and going extreme.. dropping in radical cams, with stock lifters etc etc, they were "cool" until they were not, by throwing a rod or collapsing a lifter cruising down the avenue of a Friday night.... Can still hear it ... engine revving into the red zone, then BANG... now coasting to a stop, laughter ensues !!!!
