Wife doesn’t like it when I shoot from inside the house, she makes me step out to the back porch. .
I do have a tree stand in the edge of the woods at the west end of the property, but even that is only about a 125 yard walk from my back door.

This pic was taken a while ago, but this is my back yard. Deer and turkey stop by quite regularly.

Not having much luck this year, and struggling to stay motivated to finish out the season.
Didn’t have anything close enough to take a shot during early archery. Lost a buck during firearms(long story, short version, when I found where he fell, someone else had picked him up and was long gone. )
Figured I’d dig my muzzleloader out of the safe and use it this year, and while making sure it was still sighted in, the nipple blew out of it. Currently trying to decide if I want to repair it or upgrade to a fancy in-line.
Late archery is open here til Jan 6th, maybe my luck will turn around.

Sadly, yes. I was talking to a guy at work a few days ago, and the same thing happened to him 2 years ago.

Don't you just love that stupid 13” spread rule :banghead: I’ve seen some 8yr olds that grow so tall but have no width. Can’t cull em out and it pisses me off.
