I found my trucks gets far better mileage while using cruise control on the highway. I've hit 21mpg on a long trip using cruise.

This is how I have mine most of the time. I like that I can see everything at a glance but I may feel differently once I get more miles on it. Trips A and B up top, fuel average and range at the bottom, oil change info and instant MPG on the left.

That mileage is amazing!! I have never seen 20 ever. 12,500 miles

20.2 mpg.... I am jealous.

That came from a multi-state trip and I had been on the highway for a few hours hauling my motorcycle. On the highway, I can get up to 20 MPG but around town, it drops to 14-15. I bet if I had the 8 speed tranny, those numbers would be better.

This is an older thread, For the life of me i cannot get actual temperature readings, How do you get the temperature in the middle of the screen? thanks!!

^^^^^^Once you get speedometer in the middle screen, press down arrow. It will bring you to tire pressure, press, > to scroll through different temperatures, keep pressing> until you get to temperature summary screen.

Upper left is outside temp
Upper right is time
Lower left is average MPG
Lower right is distance to empty
Left top gauge is remaining oil life
Left bottom gauge is instantaneous MPG

And of course I have my ECO light.

Here is mine, and that MPG is REAL. Trip from Phoenix AZ to my home in NM and I was running 80 on the cruise control. I have the 3.21 gears. I usually get from 17 mpg in mixed highway/city driving to 19-20 highway, I was being really diligent on the throttle and the terrain was mostly flat.

Man that's impressive! I got around that once on a trip that was purely highway. Filled up right before the highway and right after. The key with decent mileage in the trucks is diligently being easy on the throttle and coaxing it into MDS whenever possible.
