New 1st time Ram owner. Poor mans Power Wagon. 2020 Tradesman with the PW option. It's a work truck and I'm in the construction industry. Need steps. Debated with myself for a bit and went with AMP Power Step Xtreme. The AMP site requires you to select an engine (I thought this was odd for a step). RealTruck does not. I called RealTruck to confirm before ordering and was told they would fit. They do not fit gas engine for my year/model :(. In the process of returning them.

Debating the following..

Original Power Step w/ single motor per side + good step assistance, no hanging step to catch rocks - cost, I live in a snow/ice environment, muddy sloppy job sites, and really wanted the dual motor the Xtreme has, no rocker protection

NFab + cost effective, good step assistance, wheel to wheel w/ bed access - step hangs down, no plans on doing hard core off road but I'm also a Jeeper and I cant stand the thought of something that will hang up on a rock and get torn off if/when I ever get in that situation.

White Knuckle + actual slider in the event, wheel to wheel w/ bed access - cost, less of of step

Opinions??

I have the exact ones. Love them. Even though the directions were louzy and I had to drill into side panel.

Holes are pre drilled !
As for sliding out farther IMO not with out a lot of modding brackets !
They stick out far enough for me !
Install should be easy but I was lazy and had the dealer do it lol
