Stay far away from that car!!!! Read the descriptions has underlaying issues im will to bet along with the "stock apachie" heads. If those were true app heads they list for 4k a set and did not come factory, also the car being a stroker has way to small of a cam in it. If his price was lower and you went back through the motor it would be ok but he is high for what sounds like a nightmare.

^Ummm VVT motor with eagle heads good times lol. I am not 100% up to speed on yall's options but nothing like a few hours reasearching wont cure lol. Im starting to get more and more into forced induction with the builds the shop does, now thats where its fun. You can make as much power and outrun a stroker on a single turbo fordged 6.1 or 370 ci displacement as you can with a 440 with high CR and a hell of a cam.

Here is a cam on the boosted 426 (really measures 418)


For what is in that motor, a twin turbo fordged 6.1 laid out more power with no where the amount of lag was built.

hmm well looks like i might need to rethink some things.... so your saying a few pounds of boost and ill be over 400 rwhp will headers and all the other goodies i got including a custom tune??

Go fordged on the internals, boosted cam with 10lbs and bet you will be there. Its amazing what boost will do on the motors, issue is going to be finding a person to take the time to put it on a dyno and fine tune it, then keeping from hurting the trans.

I'll just fab my dad's Allison trans into my 1500

Paramount is the place to go for a built trans for these things. Sharadon is sopp to make a nice setup also but have not seen or ran in one. Just about everything at the shop gets a Paramount unit and it takes a hell of a beating. Love the shifts in those also but its gonna be a harsh shift for most people.
