Side by side with stock chev?

long story short, i raced my girlfriend in her RCSB 4WD 5.3 chev with my '14 CCLB Sport and was side by side with her from 60-140.

im thinking its cause of my weight compared to hers.

i also raced her brothers ecoboost crew cab off a dig 0-100 and had him by 2 truck lengths

I'd say the race with your girlfriend was yes weight but could also be gearing too...

Gearing/wheel size and weight is what kept ya from blowing her out of the water.

Just weighed my rcsb 4x4 on a cattle scale (so dead accurate, international shipping) and with a full tank of gas along with a one piece fiberglass tonneau (approx 150lbs which is included in the 5240) I would think he has more than 400lbs on the girly girl. Being just N.W of his hometown I would love to see the outcome with my Hemified rcsb 4x4. Bet I wins

My CCSB 4x4 sits right at 6,000lb. Your LB could/should be slightly more.
What year is her truck? Those new GM drivetrains are CRAZY efficient; they are rated at less than ours but dyno measurably higher.
Pre-'14 5.3 are an embrassment, and you need to learn to drive

Also, minor upgrades will have you smoking that Chebby. A guy at my job has a 14 quad cab and it was not even a race. With 3.92 gears and the 8speed, I wouldnt think it would close anyway?

What year chevy? The 09+ with the speeds are faster than the old 4 speed 4L60 but the stock TQ management with the 6 speed is atrocious

Then the 14+ have more power also.

Yeah I knew I was probably a bit low on my estimate but if they were side by side with his extra weight then 200 - 400 lbs in the back of her's he'd surely pull her...

she has an 08.

her dad gave me a crazy look when i told him about it. he thought i shouldve smoked her.

and 140 isnt even fast. speed limit was 110 and everyone goes 125 on that road

i also had a full tank of gas and 100lbs in the bed

you beat an ecoboost by 2 lengths but lost to an 08 chev? something isnt adding up there. So your telling me the 08 chev is gonna beat an ecoboost by over 2 lengths....NO! I can tell ya first hand my 2011 ecoboost would beat my 2014 ram with 3.92's.
