I have a 2015 Ram 1500 with 5.7 Hemi. I just ordered a Singer 270 amp alternator to keep up with the demands of my stereo (my lights are dimming, even after doing the big 3)

Singer suggests a serpentine belt 1/2" to 1" shorter than OEM due to the smaller pulley used. Anyone have a part #? It would save me a lot of trial and error.

Thanks in advance!

If you have a Napa or CarQuest nearby, take the stock belt and they should be able to "measure" it and then lookup a part that is slightly shorter.

Had to do this when I added a high output alternator to my 2000 Accord forever ago. Brought the stock belt, asked for the 2 next sizes (I forget if I had to go up or down), then returned the one that was not the best fit.

I agree with the above but if you need to drive the truck to get a new belt, the store can look up your stock replacement belt # and usually the length is part of the replacement #. Then as above get a couple of shorter lengths and take back the ones that don't fit.

Thanks guys I'll give that a try. I'll also post up the part # to help out if someone down the road needs it as well.
