single or double DIN?

Crutchfield says my 06 QC has a single DIN, but it sure looks like a double to me. Measurement of the bezel opening is just under 4".

Will it take a 2 DIN size unit?

No it won't....those models were like a din and a 1/2.... single din is the way to go!

You can customize your bezel to accept double din though. There is also a person on other forums called weedahoe who builds the bezels so you can do a double din.

Or you might hit E-Bay and see if anyone is selling a double din bezel for your truck.

Wow just went on eBay and saw you can get them for $50, way cheaper then what I suggested lol.
