I'm posting this to maybe help others with this same problem...
For a while now, I've noticed that Siri has been mute in my 2019 Ram 1500. Could not hear voice prompts, the read-back of messages, usual voice prompts ... nothing. Googling around, I found that since at least iOS 13.5, Siri's volume has been lowered to almost 0 or completely mute on uconnect systems. The fix is to do a long press on the VR button to activate Siri, then use the volume button to increase the audio level while Siri is activated. Just tried it and this worked for me.
