I just had my chrome bumpers painted. 5 years later and still look great. In my case it was the cheaper option.

I must be the odd ball. I'm not a fan of the all black, murdered out look on trucks. Plus, the wife wants chrome numbers, front and back. So if anyone wants to trade, hit me up.

This is why I like that there is options with all trucks. Mine had too much chrome so it was all painted or changed out. After I bought it, I just couldn't do the chrome. So my transformation began.

I'm still considering getting some chrome bumpers for my truck. I won't do it unless I can hind a home for my sport bumpers though. Anyone want some mine hit me up. I have been trolling junkyards and found a front end that I can use. I like black and all, but black hides so much of the body's visual appeal. It needs to be accentuated, not abbreviated.

So, finally did the swap.
Was going to wrap it black or paint the chrome but man the sport bumper just looks so much better.
Plus getting a primered one sport bumper on ebay for $120 is pretty affordable. It's all the other parts that are not cheap. hahaha

I did found a wrecked express rams local so I was able to get the absorber and impact bar pretty cheap.
Boosted youtube video was very helpful too except there's more to getting the top painted part off. lol

Now, I have to get that ugly chrome rear bumper off and painted next. I think it would be cheaper to find a black bumper and get it painted.
