Has anyone here in the power wagon section done the snorkel kit by a AEV ( or others)?

How is the fit and functionality? Do you have any regrets doing it?

I love the look.

I’ve seen some trucks on the Internet use the diesel version for gasoline engines,,, are these just for show or are they functional ??

Pictures please if you have them. Thank you everybody!

I looked at the aev but just couldn't bring myself to cut a big hole in my fender so I went with s&b which I'm very happy with.

AEV is the only game in town for 4th gen snorkels, as far as I know. I haven’t done one yet, but it’s on my list. The people I know who do have them don’t have anything negative to say about them.

The risk of flooding in my area is extremely miminmal so I'm not thinking of doing it but I had considered it and AEV is the only real choice. Even with my K&N intake the 2017 6.4L hemi has a water clearance level of three and a half feet, so I think I'm ok at this time. We shal see what global warming brings to the Atlantic Ocean just down the hill but I think I will not outlive the rising tide.

Right, not too worried about high water either. Toyota is actually advertising it to avoid dust on 2019 models. Again I like the look.

There’s no diesel versus gas version on the AEV — only “ram air” versus “self-cleaning pre-filter” styles.

No. It’s behind the A pillar, you’ll barely notice it.
