The brake lines between the master cylinder and HRU ruptured and I lost all the fluid in the master cylinder on my 2000 dodge Ram 1500 Laramie. Will I need to bleed the master cylinder and HRU unit ? If what is the correct procedure for doing this.

HRU? As in the rear wheel anti lock? I accidentally ran air through my system when power flushing my 99 last weekend. I was able to bleed it without any scan tool. I do have a power bleeder though. Best 35 I ever spent on Amazon.

Manual says you have to bleed the Master cylinder before anything else. Then left rear, right rear, right front, left front. It also says to move the pin in the combination valve when bleeding the front.
