You could probably make money on that deal. At the very least even trade with a forum member.

I had a '14 with the slider, and now have a '15 with solid back glass. I opened the slider 1 time during the year and a half owning the '14. I think the solid back glass looks much cleaner. :Big Laugh:

I use my slider all the time in the warmer months. Allows for some nice airflow without having the massive intake from the drivers window.

Just gotta use it right and it is awesome.

Functionality wise I like the slider. Looks wise the solid glass is way nicer. It would be nice if Ram had the full window retract. I know some trucks have this.

Solid glass is the way to go imo... it wouldnt be a deal breaker for me but having owned 3 Ram's and the one with a slider having been opened once in 3 years I've settled on trucks without a slider on the last 2!

my 14 rcsb Sport had the solid my 15 has the slider, to me the solid looks many times nicer/cleaner and on top of that I will rarely if ever use the slider:favorites13:

You need to gut the interior to remove the power mechanism. It's driven by a motor under the carpet behind the back seats. The seats, carpet and pillar trim all need to be removed. And it's glued in. The glass is usually broken to remove it. Ram is the worst truck to do a slider on. 2 layers of urethane along with metal strips inside foam. They suck. Very likely it won't come out in 1 piece if you're looking to trade or sell. That's why I cringe when I hear somebody doesn't have glass and I hate the fact I can't have glass coverage on my truck.
